Riding the final 5 miles of my last Pedal-with-Pete benefit, my legs were sore, my butt hurt, I was out of water, I was slightly concerned that I was lost...and it was one of the most wonderful times of my life.
Something changes when you know what you are doing is helping someone...helping many in some cases. For that very reason, I am riding again this year, and you can ride with me.
Pedal-with-Pete is a non-profit organization that raises money for research to improve the quality of life for those people with cerebral palsy.
It is a wonderful cause. And, one I am proud to ride in and spread the word.
This year, Lauren's brother, Mark, and I will be taking on the 48 mile course. If you can't ride with us, we would love to have your support. There's no prize or kick back for the amount of money we raise, but I would like to set a personal goal of $2000.00, that's right- two grand!
But, I can't do that without you. With social outlets like my blog, our oFp. blog, Twitter, and Facebook, I see absolutely no reason why we can't get a dollar (or two 
) from everyone of our friends. Think of it as a subscription fee, and know that by donating you are helping to change a life...many lives.
